🏭 Frank Seeley
Manufacturer Frank Seeley built a business whose head office and major production base became established at Lonsdale. Starting in a backyard shed in 1972, he developed plastic evaporative air-conditioning equipment and later expanded into rooftop systems. The company’s local operations brought together production workers, engineers and product designers, connecting a southern Adelaide industrial suburb with products sold more widely. His personal recognition included South Australian Entrepreneur of the Year in 2005 and South Australian of the Year in 2011. Lonsdale became the working base of this substantial manufacturing enterprise.
